Being The Difference, The Lost Generation.

Uplifting Students. Changing Stereotypes. Reforming Culture. Fueling Dreams.

The mission of The Lost Generation is to empower K-12 students in the classroom through the implementation of collegiate mentors and enlightening programs, affording students an equitable opportunity to learn, grow, and produce sustainable futures. Our goal is to build successful students that will be well-equipped for the future. Our objective is to bring dignity to the classroom so students have an eagerness to learn, take pride in their education, and can overcome any obstacles hindering them to be successful through our myriad of services that activate minds through education beyond traditional learning curriculums, unleashing new possibilities.

Mentoring

Our strategic mentor program focuses on building life-skills through three primary components: Learning Opportunities/Enrichment Activities, GALLUP CliftonStrengths, and Restorative Practices for Behavior. We emphasize the core principals of Academic Excellence, Leadership by Example, and Community & Service. 95% of Educators believe students benefit from mentorship. Our practices are designed to deliver a 100% lasting impact.

Empowering the Youth Event

We understand that education happens within the context of a larger community. Therefore, our physical display of encouraging students as they arrive to school while greeting them with high-fives, warm smiles, and signs of positive affirmations is our own unique way of uplifting students while embodying the spirit of inclusion and service through involvement from our dedicated members. Following, we address the student-body as a group delivering an inspiring message. This approach extends beyond the school’s efforts to help ensure students have the necessary support to showcase the best versions of themselves, contributing to a positive campus culture and climate and better student outcomes.

Programs

Our programs are designed to impact students beyond the traditional learning curriculums through exposure, real-world learning and scenarios, and individualized support. As students are required to receive 75,600 minutes in Texas schools every school year, it is imperative that they have opportunities and systems in place that support their overall growth while become better people in the process. Collectively, our programs increase student engagement and connectivity to their school campus.

“With the support from The Lost Generation, we have been able to serve our students better than ever.”
